History

The Annals is the official medical journal of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Established in 1972, the monthly peer-reviewed journal seeks to publish novel findings from clinical research and medical practices that can benefit the medical community.

It serves the various specialties that form the membership of the Academy, covering healthcare challenges, clinical management, medical education, emerging disease trends and scientific breakthroughs.

The Annals is indexed in the Index Medicus, Science Citation Index Expanded, ISI Alerting Services, and Current Contents/Clinical Medicine. The journal’s 2021 Impact Factor is 8.713, and its 5-year Impact Factor is 5.544.
