The Annals is the official medical journal of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Established in 1972, the monthly peer-reviewed journal seeks to publish novel findings from clinical research and practices that can benefit the medical community.
It serves the various specialties that form the membership of the Academy, covering healthcare challenges, clinical management, medical education, emerging disease trends and scientific breakthroughs.
The Annals is Open Access and available online only. We are indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Embase, Science Citation Index Expanded, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, SCOPUS, and HINARI (WHO’s Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative). Our journal is ranked in the first quartile in the competitive category of Medicine (General and Internal) with an impact factor of 2.8 (Clarivate 2026).
