Confluent Atypical Molluscum Contagiosum Causing Disfigurement in a Human Immunodeficiency Virus Patient

Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a viral disease caused by molluscipoxvirus. The first peak incidence occurs in preschool children. A second peak incidence occurs in young adults in which the condition is generally considered to be a sexually transmitted disease.
