Intestinal obstruction (IO) caused by malignancy and adhesion bands from previous surgery is common among adults. However, IO caused by congenital adhesion bands (CAB) in the elderly is rare. We report a case of a 63-year-old man who presented with acute-on-chronic intestinal obstruction due to CAB, which caused pseudointestinal malrotation.
